Midwest Food Bank & History/Government: Peachtree City
In this session, the participants were hosted by Will Garner at the Midwest Food Bank in Peachtree City. He provided us with a tour, an information session, breakfast, and lunch! We also heard from other local non-profits serving those in our community that struggle to get by. Lots of information about opportunities to volunteer. After lunch we headed to City Hall in Peachtree City where we heard from Mayor Vanessa Fleisch and her department heads. A very full, but very informative day!
