Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) Fayette is a member of Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) Georgia, a statewide non-profit established in 1984. The organization focuses exclusively on the prevention of child abuse and neglect in our state. FACTOR is proud to be a Charter Council of PCA Georgia, serving our community since 2008. As a member of this network, PCA Fayette provides information and assistance to the community in an effort to create greater safety for all children.
PCA Fayette is under the direction of Becky Smith - FACTOR Executive Director, and Molli Pruitt - Counselor, LPC, DCC, EAS-C. The focus is on educating the community about the prevalence of child abuse and what can be done to prevent it. The group hosts seminars, training sessions, and special events during the year to bring attention to this important issue. Available training includes Shaken Baby Prevention Workshops, Better Brains for Babies Workshops, and Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training sessions. In addition, we offer Darkness to Light's - "Stewards of Children" training. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. Click here for more details.
